The topic of food can be overwhelming. Everyone nowadays seems to consider themselves a foodie, food blogger, wannabe chef or couch critic. There’s more to food than what it looks and tastes like, but what really matters is where it comes from. Being able to trace the journey of where your meat, dairy, fresh produce and dried pantry goods travels from and to your plate, is more important than ever, particularly as the agricultural and meat industries have a huge impact on our environment, our animal friends and our health.

ConversatioNZ is a new food movement, established by chefs and people within the hospitality industry to create a strong community around food. Together they hope to explore the wild as a food resource, sustainability, the possibilities of urban agriculture and ways that human kind can live in harmony with nature.
