After consistently going bigger and bigger year-after-year with its smart phones, Apple has now reversed its ways and has released a smaller, more compact iPhone.  Why, you ask? After selling 30 million 4-inch iPhones just last year, the tech giant is clearly giving the consumer what they want. “There are two reasons people are buying 4-inch iPhone—firstly, some people just love smaller phones and they want the most compact phone design, and secondly, for a lot of our customers it’s their first iPhone,” says VP of product marketing for Apple, Greg Joswiak. “Some people asked us, and some people even pleaded with us to please keep the 4-inch products in our line-up.” Say hello to the iPhone SE.

Not only is new compact size a selling point, but the new device is as powerful as the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, and additionally has a longer battery life, faster wireless, and a 12-megapixel camera. One of our favourite features? The retina flash which momentarily makes the display three times brighter resulting in better selfies—always a win.
