(prounounced po-kay) The latest food trend taking over our social media feeds and plates (and bowls).

The dish that’s appearing everywhere on Instagram and it’s generating a foodie storm from L.A. to New York and Paris. Originally from Hawaii, the poke bowl is typical of the Hawaiian culinary culture, and means ‘to dice’. Served in a bowl, it consists of a base of decorated rice with raw fish cubes, meat or pickled vegetables, and soy with sesame seeds. Healthy and pretty in a bowl.
